Newfoundland and Labrador  invites 200 people through PNP and AIP

On August 29, 2025, Newfoundland and Labrador sent out 202 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through the Atlantic Immigration Programme (AIP) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Programme (NYPNP). These were for folks who wanted to move to the country. There were a total of 125 invites sent out for the NLPNP and 77 for the AIP.

This new drawing shows that the state is still trying to get people to move there and help the business grow and make jobs. It has been trying to get skilled people with jobs in Newfoundland and Labrador to move there through both the NLPNP and the AIP.

The Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism (OIM) has hosted draws every month since May 2025. Most ITAs are still given out through the NLPNP, which shows that the province is still interested in skilled newcomers.

The NLPNP streams have not been separated, but the fact that invitations are still being sent out on a daily basis shows that the province is very committed to immigration.

What are the conditions for being eligible ?

If someone wants to move to Newfoundland and Labrador through the NLPNP or AIP, they need to have a legal job or an offer of a job in the state. When ITAs are given out, they are first given to Expressions of Interest (EOIs) that meet what the job market in the province wants.

People who want to join the NLPNP get an email inviting them to do so. People who are picked can send in a full application for provincial nomination through the province's Immigration Accelerator page. The same goes for people who want to join the AIP. They have to meet job-related standards first.

Having draws often and giving out a lot of ITAs is making Newfoundland and Labrador an even better place for skilled people to move to. These ways to immigrate are good chances for qualified people because the area needs more people to work in many different fields. The NLPNP and AIP make it easy for people who are new to the area to find work and settle down. The area is known for having friendly people and good economic possibilities.
