The eligibility score in this category is set at 75 points, and for permission to stay, 85 points are required (75 for attributes and 10 for English).

The applicants who have already received the Tier 2 or Tier 5 visa can switch to Tier 1 because they have exceptional skills.

The two stages of getting the Tier 1 Visa are:-

  • Apply to the Home Office for endorsement

Tier 1 – Entrepreneur Visa – The Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa category allows the entrepreneurs with £50,000 and £2000000 to enter the UK to establish a new business there or take over a business or run their own business. Tier 1 – Investor Visa – It is for those who would like to invest in the UK. For this category, one needs to have an eligible score of 75 points. The applicants can score these points if they have £1,000,000 or more of their own money for investment in the UK. Further, having £2,000,000 or more like the personal assets and a loan of £1,000,000 or more amount for investment in the U K. The eligibility score in this category is 95 points in total (75 points for attributes, 10 points for English and 10 for funds).

Tier 1 - Graduate Entrepreneur Visa – It is a good option for those who have an MBA or any other graduate program. With a Graduate Entrepreneur visa, they can extend their stay after graduation and establish one or more businesses in the UK. This visa also provides help to the overseas graduates listed by UK Trade Investment (UKTI) and are regulated as the elite global graduate entrepreneurs to establish one or more businesses in the UK. This category's eligibility score is 95 points in total (75 points for attributes, 10 points for English, and 10 for funds).

What are the Documents required for the TIER 1 Visa?

The Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa requires the following documents –

  • Passport and documents
