The child visa subclass 802 allows a child from Australia to live with their parents in Australia. This visa has no expiry time, it is valid for a lifetime. The child who is a visa holder of this visa can live in Australia permanently. This visa is for living permanently in Australia. Means, a child with this visa is allowed to live forever in Australia with parents. This Visa lets the children of Australian citizen, Permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to stay with them in Australia.

This is a temporary visa has been designed for those applicants, whose skills, experience and abilities are well in demand in the regional territories or specific states of Australia. This visa allows you to live and work in Regional territories of Australia for up to 4 years. However, you must choose an occupation from the relevant occupation list and also need to get the sponsorship from that particular state or territory in Australia, which you have chosen to apply.

For Subclass 802

  • Child is in Australia.
  • Child is sponsored by Australian citizen, Permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
  • Either Child is younger than 18 years of age (and not adopted) or if adopted (under 18 when adopted) or a full-time student between 18 and 25 years of age else 18 or older and unable to work due to a disability and dependent on the sponsoring parent.
  • Child is single.

For subclass 101

  • Child is outside Australia.
  • Child is sponsored by Australian citizen, Permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
  • Child is single.
  • Either Child is younger than 18 years of age (and not adopted) or if adopted (under 18 when adopted) or a full-time student between 18 and 25 years of age else 18 or older and unable to work due to a disability and dependent on the sponsoring parent.
