The UK is looking to hire healthcare professionals from India

This is reverting news for UK aspirants. Amidst the shortage of healthcare professionals in the UK, the National Health Services ( NHS) Trust is looking to recruit more than 100 healthcare professionals from India.

Recently there was a recruitment trip to Kerala by the NHS Foundation Trust in which 107 medical staff, which included 97 registered nurses and ten allied healthcare professionals have been offed a position by the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospital NHS Trust.

The NHS Foundation Trust is looking to start the funding bid to support the international nursing recruitment staff from April 2023 to November 2023. In January 2023, the Trust had a vacancy of 11.5 percent for the profession of healthcare support workers, and registered nurses had a vacancy rate of 14.5 percent.

The Trust has been facing a lot of issues in the recruitment and retention of staff in the UK. Thus, immigrant healthcare professionals seem to be the right way to fill the labor shortage.
